Discovered a new app for my iPhone called Songify--what fun! I watched CBS Sunday Morning News and learned about the Gregory Brothers whose video Bed Intruder went viral on YouTube. They are a group of brothers, and the wife of one of the guys, who have taken ordinary videos of news events and turned the voice into song. They share the income from their huge success with those appearing in the videos and on the tracks selling in iTunes. I wonder if Obama got a cut from this one:
With the app, you can simply speak some words and voila! it's a song! Easy n funny! U can listen to what others have recorded n tweeted with raunchy titles and content such as:
Who Farted
Jigaboo
Homeless Homo
...just to name a few of the random ones I came across today. Not hateful, but people just acting silly.
